Garden Trug

Rothers Garden Trug

This contemporary simple Garden Trug is based on the design for the traditional trug invented in 1829 by Thomas Smith of Herstmonceux, East Sussex, England. A beauty.

  1. This reminds me of a special type of bark seen in Asian countries which is used for maklng small boats

  2. They still make them in Herstmonceux (I walk past the workshop on my way to work).

It has a truly Pythonesk name of the Truggery – always makes me smile.
