Very, very good advice.
Almost as good as what Civil War General (Union side) John B. Sedgwick, said at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House, in 1864. He was admonishing his men for maintaining their cover. He stood up and shouted “They couldn’t hit an elephant at this dist…”, just before having his head blown off by a Confederate sharp-shooter.
I always loved the stories of H. G. Wells. I particularly liked his story “The Time Machine”, being a bit of an amateur time-traveller myself.
