Batsheva Dance Company

I just got back from enjoying a performance by the Batsheva Dance Company. What a beautiful experience!

I know absolutely *nothing* about contemporary dance and was sitting there with eyes wide open. I was intrigued. I was surprised. I was thrown off. So many feels. The above video is by the same ensemble but not what they performed tonight. If you have a chance to see them, please do.

  3. I have seen the piece in the video above when I was a teenager and it was one of the most emotionally and visually exciting experiences ever. They are an amazing company. There is a very good documentary about their choreographer, Ohad Naharin. You can see the trailer here:
