As a cat owner I shy away of having candles in my house and am wondering if the Wick would create somewhat the same ambiance as a candle would.

It does not flicker the way a candle does, but the light it gives off (3 levels of brightness) is soft and lovely. Have seen this in person…both in stores and in homes. It’s a gorgeous and well designed piece.
