While visiting Portland OR my friend Jen took me to the lovely Grasshopper Store on Alberta Street where I discovered these amazing Lunch Skins.
Lunch Skins are reusable, colorful cloth pouches are made from a high quality, moisture-proof German fabric used worldwide in the food industry. They are food safe, extremely durable, grease-proof and can even be thrown in the dishwasher. And most of all they are incredibly stylish! I am thrilled to be packing Ella’s on-the-go snacks in these stylish pouches from now. Good bye to ZipLock Bags.
that store is brimming with wonderful, clever products. definitely my favorite stop on the Cogliantry tour!

Thanks for the post Tina. We love lunchskins at Grasshopper! Not only are the super cute and well made, but they are also dishwasher-safe and a very green alternative to Ziplocs. Locals seem to love them and we can barely keep them in stock. We’ll be getting more in very shortly including the lizard, shark and apple designs. Come by the shop and get yours soon!

they’re nice, but if my mother had packed my lunch in one of those back when everyone took Disney lunchboxes and brown bags, I would have been teased to no end!

what are the properties in the high quality material that make this product moisture-proof and grease proof

Those look like a blast to wash, if you’re sans dishwasher

I was looking for something more “boyish” like skulls and bones and camo, and guns and pretty pink cuppy cakes.

If I were assulted with one of these. I think I would smile..because pretty swirlies are just the ticket to take the edge off..you know, from the aforementioned assult.
