I am extremely excited to share last week’s CreativeMornings talk by Simon Sinek. His talk was a touching one, definitely getting under my skin. Simon’s message is an important one and I can assure you that watching his talk is 20minutes well spent. Simon believes in a world in which the vast majority of people go home everyday feeling fulfilled by their work. Amen to that.
A big giant thank you to our videographer Ben Hallman.
Thank you for posting this. I saw Simon’s TedTalk on the same subject, but this is the kind of video that I need to watch once a month.
The first time I saw it I had to add more “why” to my intro video at GreenShortz.

I thought the part in the Q&A section on Mother Teresa was a bit odd but fascinating. I want to know more about it. I’m looking into it for sure now.
He gives several major lessons throughout. Finding meaning in the work place and how work life impacts kids as well. The whole part on the Marines and how they train was very interesting. More selfless acts bread more selfless acts (so help people). And how to ask for a favor, HA! brilliant. Thanks for the vid. Loved it.
