8 Lessons from Mister Rogers

I didn’t grow up with Mister Rogers, but his advice rings true even as a grown-up. Better late than never.

  1. Mister Rogers was a staple in my house as a kid. Today, there’s a show called Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood that’s created by the Fred Rogers company and features the next generation of the old, beloved characters. We are big fans.

  2. For me, the worst possible sting – in any situation – is to step outside myself for a moment and realise “You’re not being the person Mr. Rogers believed you could be, you’re not doing what Mr. Rogers taught you was right.” And that’s always a cue to step back and reassess whatever it is I’m doing.
