I was a little intimidated about switching to cast iron, but I’ve loved it ever since. I seasoned mine on a grill – which is great way to avoid fumes in the house. Easy to clean with one of those chain mail squares. The best thing is they only get better with use. Gotta love cookware gentle enough for scrambled eggs, but that can be put right in a camp fire.
I’ve been using a cast iron pan for more than 20 years – I love cooking with it, but have never seasoned it. Also, I had no idea how many things I could use it for. Thanks for sharing!
