I can not wait to experience Color Factory NYC, which opens TODAY. From the press sneak peaks I have seen on Instagram it’s an incredibly joyful experience! Giant size ball-pit anyone?
Color Factory is a collaborative interactive exhibit that debuted in San Francisco in August 2017. What was intended as a month-long run unexpectedly flourished as a celebration of color and creativity that lasted for another eight sold-out months.
FYI: You can’t buy tickets at the door, so make sure to buy them ahead of time here. (I Just bought mine! My kids can’t wait!)
All these places that open just so people can take selfies for Instagram. Seems like a bit of a waste of resources.

This is not one of “these places.” This is world-class design. Othe pop-ups could be done by high school kids. Color Factory is a next-level experience.

This is amazing! Thank you for sharing the news.
@Pu If you think it’s “waste of resources”, I think they would earn more money than what they spent to create these beautiful artworks, it’s art and also business.

We went on opening week in San Francisco. So fun for both kids and adults alike! Our families favorites were the ball pit (ours were yellow though) and the giant litebright! Enjoy!

It does seem like a bit of a fad, I guess 29 rooms perhaps started something. Perhaps Instagram should be paying these artists.
