I have two vintage army cots I got off of craigslist. They are similar in design to the one you have posted here. I made some flame retardant-free padded mattresses for them with local leftover wool and use them instead of couches—I got concerned about flame retardants after seeing the HBO documentary “Toxic Hot Seat” some years back. I love the look of a classic cot! Doubles as a guest bed.
Swissmiss is an online garden Tina Roth Eisenberg started in 2005 and has lovingly tended to ever since.
Besides swissmiss, Tina founded and runs TeuxDeux, CreativeMornings and her Brooklyn based co-working community Friends Work Here. (She also started Tattly which was recently adopted by BIC)
