Watch With Glittering Eyes

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.

Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”

  1. tremendous quote

  2. Not sure a quote from Roald Dahl is appropriate. From an interview with the British magazine New Statesman:

“There is a trait in the Jewish character that does provoke animosity, maybe it’s a kind of lack of generosity towards non-Jews,” he said. “I mean, there’s always a reason why anti-anything crops up anywhere; even a stinker like Hitler didn’t just pick on them for no reason.”

Or, should we conveniently keep a blind eye of his antisemitism views and focus on his work? Seems hypocritical to me.

  3. @Joakim, I did not realize that Roald Dahl said this. I denounce antisemitism and anyone who holds such beliefs.
