Thank you so much for continuing this blog. It has been a joy to follow.
I found this entry, though, made enough of an impact on me to comment on.
I was struck by the Earth Tourist patch listing. To me, buying a patch like this sends the wrong message in the age of Climate Chaos. Tourism means flying to many different countries which creates an enormous carbon footprint. I’ve been guilty of flying lots of places and am trying to mend my ways. I am now following, but am not a member of, “Take the Jump”, an organization meant to help individuals help reduce their carbon footprint by following five or six personal shifts… one shift is flying domestically once every three years and once overseas every eight years. That, evidently, makes flying sustainable! It’s going to be excruciating.
Maybe you can put this website in your blog some day.
