I saw this book when I was in San Fran in august. It’s a great concept, but I’m gonna be the web blanket here.
I love the concept of something like this, but I know that so much of the book would just end up unused. I know that for a lot of people, there is more value for them to produce a book like this, but for the end users, I feel like maybe a cdrom or digital download of a collection of well-done eps’s would have been better.
This way, if you’re on a cd case kick, you print off a stack of them and just go to it. Next week, if you need to design some floppy disk labels, print them!
Also, I hate these types of workbooks, because I hesitate to want to mark them up! I’m still working up to wanting to use these marvelous ‘Dot Grid Notebooks’ I bought a while back!
On the other hand, the book looks really great and it’s nice to see all the shapes and relative sizes in one place.
