Whenever I hear the name Steff Geissbuhler, I listen up. In my opinion Steff is *the* swiss designer gone NYC and I consider him my muse. Fresh tells us about his latest book:
Steff Geissbuhler’s early work in Switzerland for the pharmaceutical firm Geigy is currently featured in both an exhibition and a book. The exhibition, Good Design, Good Business, Schweizer Grafik und Werbung für Geigy 1940-1970 (Swiss Graphic Design and Advertising for Geigy), is currently on view at the Museum of Design in Zurich. The accompanying book, Corporate Diversity – Swiss Graphic Design and Advertising by Geigy, 1940-1970 (Lars Müller Publishers), is on sale now. Fan of Swiss design? See a short film on the exhibit here (caution: narration in Swiss German).

I’ve seen the exhibition at the Museum of Design in Zurich. I really loved it – they have some great examples of swiss design. There is also a nice poster designed by Norm to the exhibit, see here: http://www.werbewoche.ch/werbewoche/news/marketing_kommunikation/content-167266.html

I’ve seen the exhibition as well in Zurich – lots of great projects, fit with the many design waves concurrent with Geigy development.
