A few hours ago today’s Kurt Aeschbacher show aired on Swiss TV. I had the incredible honor to be one of his four guests.
If you don’t speak Swiss-German, I am afraid you won’t understand all that much, but hey, I am saying an English word here an there! I admit, I am all giddy. I watched the Aeschbacher show growing up and I am incredibly flattered that my story qualified me as one of his guests.
Damn. I really need to learn hutzli putzli German!

I love Swiss German because it makes ‘hoch Deutsch’ sound melodic and a little more relaxed. It was fun to see this clip, even if I did only catch bits and pieces (I did a student exchange in Chur in 1993 and sadly I’m nowhere near as fluent now as I was then!)

You did a great job Tina. If you d be from Germany you would already have an offer from one of the TV stations here, knowing the swiss that will take a little longer.

Hallo Tina, ich sehe mir die Sendung von Aescbi jede Woche an und war nach der Vorschau für die gestrige Sendung total gespannt auf diese Swiss Miss. Das Interview war super – v.a. die Stelle mit der Million pro Monat ;-) Nun ist Freitag Abend und ich habe mir die Zeit genommen mal bei dir reinzuschauen. got onto SF online through a friend and then watched the interview. I used to watch Aeschbacher over 20 years ago, I am a Swiss abroad living in Sydney. Well done Tina. Love your blog and your success.
