“When children have nothing to do now, they immediately switch on the TV, the computer, the phone or some kind of screen. The time they spend on these things has increased.
But children need to have stand-and-stare time, time imagining and pursuing their own thinking processes or assimilating their experiences through play or just observing the world around them.”

Good advice for adults as well.

Agreed! In the near future I can envision the parenting line of “Would ya just use the CPU in your head sometimes, huh?! “

so true! i feel like this even w/ myself & have been trying to be more mindful of spending my “bored” time in other ways aside from engaging with the screen.
when i watched my little cousins, who live in the countryside, making their own toys to catch butterflies & bugs, it made me think of how wonderful it is that they are using their own imagination to unlock new ways of engaging with their surroundings.

Majority of these reviews express satisfaction of the smokers in
terms of flavor quality and appearance of the stems.
Be warned, however, do not enter the bazaar if you are not carrying serious cash and are ready to by something because they sell
absolutely everything in there. When I was planning my six-week European tour,
I expected to spend about a week in Switzerland and a week in the Czech Republic with a few days in Vienna wedged between, before moving West into Germany.

That’s what rocked my childhood, boredom. Never buy your kids tech, buy them legos.

I completely agree. With everysone, young AND OLD alike! Children are growing up raised by poor poor values, perhalps ones that full adults would know better than to follow, but with the youngones, they have no reference or common sence to fall back on.
Being happy with simple joys and aims, isn’t what kids are learning from screens. Being bored for a little bit gives people time to think and develope themselves. Instead there is an addiction to stimuli, such as tv, phones, food, and products, all of which distract people, and put money in corporate pockets !
Good topic, it’s good to see others see and agree with this. !
