Artifact Uprising is an iphone app that allows you to beautifully tell your story with soft- and hardcover books and postcards. Beautifully designed. Simple. Definitely giving this a try.

Thank you so very much Tina – we’ve been long-time admirers of the work you’re doing to cultivate a creative community. This means the world coming from YOU!

I don’t know if it’s me or the book of Papanek i’m reading right now, but consumerist things like this make me sad. “Inspired by the disappearing beauty of the tangible”? Well, how about touching the actual tangible things, Instead of touching the books you made with the photographs of the things. I don’t know. Design needs to get real.

Groovebook App is $2.99 printed AND shipped. A lot cheaper than $28.99. I think A|U has a better design aesthetic, but as a young designer who cannot afford to pay a lot, I have to keep my loyalty to the start-up who has made it work for less !

Beautiful looking app. Unfortunately it’s only available in 1 country (USA). Same for the Groovebook app.
