Our latest TV ad – featuring massive paint explosions – took 10 days and 250 people to film. Huge quantities of paint were needed to accomplish this, which had to be delivered in 1 tonne trucks and mixed on-site by 20 people. The effect was stunning, but afterwards a major clean-up operation was required to clear away all that paint! The cleaning took 5 days and 60 people. Thankfully, the use of a special water-based paint made it easy to scrape-up once the water had evaporated.

These holiday cards over at Greenestreetgreetings.com made me smile. Add your own message, choose font type/color etc, upload your logo if you like and hit ‘add to cart’. The cards will then be printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled cover-weight (100#) paper that’s processed chlorine-free. Also, they only use toxic-free soy and vegetable based inks. And get this: Their website is hosted on a solar and wind powered server and other energy overhead is offset by terrapass carbon credits.

If you live somewhat nearby NYC, consider taking a day trip to Storm King Sculpture Park. Now is the perfect time as the leaves are changing. Family Eisenberg ventured up there yesterday and boy, did we come home with big smiles on our faces. Little Miss Ella seemed to be mesmerized by the Calder sculptures. In fact, she expressed the desire to own a Calder Mobile in her room. (hmm… where does she have that

And wow, I just saw that they teamed up with Real Simple, another one of my favorites. I keep thinking I should keep the recipes from the magazine. But I know myself, if I put them in some folder I’ll never look at them again. If I can’t "search" it, I won’t use it. Fresh Direct and the One-Click recipes to the rescue!

ShowimageaspxG and I were just perusing a baby gear website and came across these Combi Training Chop Sticks! Wow, I never thought of this, but yeah, some kids will have to start learning to eat with chop sticks at one point. Didn’t know they have training ones! Cool. We’ll have to get Miss Ella some, so she won’t look as silly as her mom trying to eat her food with chop sticks! Ha!
