what’s a cross between scotch tape and a bulletin board?
Modern Hang-Ups is an adhesive-backed dispensable display surface bundled with powerful magnetic tacks—a great way to hang notes, photos, and drawings without tape or pins, or damaging the wall. The best part is you can dispense the strip to any length that fits your space and needs. The inventors, Kermit Westergaard and Anna Winger, are looking for a licensee or manufacturer/distributor/investor to help bring this patented product to market. Email them here.
I *love* this idea. In fact, I want it in my office! Can somebody please produce this?

JAPAN vs. UK: PingMag’s Desk Project!
You know this familiar situation: every time you visit an office, you are curious to see how creative folks and artists actually work; how your dream job’s desktop would look like… Creative inspirations cluttered all over or structured order of mind on a neat desktop? Out of curiosity, Pingmag randomly sent an e-mail to people they’ve interviewed before, to friends and others asking, “Can I see your desk?” Guess how many they have received! Interestingly, most answers arrived from United Kingdom and Japan.

formbilderladen
Formbilderladen, a recently launched german site, offers Memory games, quartet and magnetic pictures, produced in a very small range and uniquely packed. Run by a Jens Heilman, photographer and his partner a graphic designer, both sharing the goal to make special products around the theme of photography and graphic design. Love the above memory game cards picturing car silhouettes. (Wish the site wasn’t as cumbersome to navigate. Their products seem lovely though.)
