Pickle Plant

I am completely in love with this somewhat silly looking Pickle Plant. I bought one a few weeks ago and it’s thriving. I am delighted. Also, I had no idea you can buy plants on Etsy!

CreativeMornings Job Board

This week I interviewed two *delightful* humans for a designer position at Tattly that found the job listing through the CreativeMornings job board. The thought that my team and I built a job board that attracts talented and big hearted humans makes my heart explode.

The job board is global and you can filter by all commitment levels, meaning, full time, part time, contract, freelance and even internships. You can post unlimited jobs with an affordable membership to the CreativeGuild, the global directory of companies, professionals and jobs, run by CreativeMornings.

Decorating Your Sneakers with Tattly

A few days ago I shared on my Instagram how my daughter felt inspired to decorate her white sneakers with Tattly. I can’t remember getting this many DMs with excitement and thumbs up. It’s super simple: Grab a hold of some fun small-ish Tattly and apply them, just like you would on your skin, but on your shoe. Make sure to cover the designs with a clear sealant or clear nail polish. Superfun! Boring sneakers no more!

There are many more Tattly DIY ideas on our blog.

Reasons To Be Cheerful

David Byrne started a magazine called Reasons To Be Cheerful in which he and his team tell stories that reveal that there are, in fact, a surprising number of reasons to feel cheerful. Many of these reasons come in the form of smart, proven, replicable solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Reasons to be Cheerful is here to tell you about some of them. Through sharp reporting, their stories balance a sense of healthy optimism with journalistic rigor, and find cause for hope. It is part magazine, part therapy session, part blueprint for a better world.

I love EVERYTHING about this.

I Thought I Had A Lot of Plants…

I thought I had a lot of plants until I saw this house tour of Summer Rayne Oakes. I thoroughly enjoy what she shares on Instagram and I just ordered her book How To Make A Plant Love You. Also, she taught me how to fight Fungus Gnats. An overall lovely human. Also, I think her parents did an incredible job naming her. So much respect.

NEW: Embroidery Tattoos by Tattly

Tattly launched Embroidery Tattoos by Tessa Perlow yesterday. These are the coolest! I don’t know what to do with my excitement over these! Gah!

In case you’re not familiar with Tattly: It’s a high-end temporary tattoo company I started 8 years ago. The designs last 2-5 days and are printed with vegetable based ink, here in the USA. We license art from professional artists and they get a generous cut of every single sale.

Tattly just launched Tiny Tattly Tins! (Say that 10 times really fast!) They make me so happy! These tins are so teeny-weeny-tini you can take them anywhere! Plus they come with a wee sponge for easy application! Cuuuuute!

Psst.. Tattly is currently running their totally bonanza-50%-birthday-sale.

Happy Pride!

I am so grateful my kids are growing up in a world, here in Brooklyn, where they will be free to love whoever they want to love, without judgement. The Swiss country side, where I grew up, was not that open minded at the time.

Happy pride day everyone! Look out for team Tattly putting rainbows on anyone who will let them during the World Pride Parade!

Love is love!
