In love with this joyful Confetti Tree Skirt.
Yes, the Holidays are on my mind.
Today is the Day where I can finally announce our newest Tattly project: Tattly Cards: One Real Card, One Fake Tattoo. Our new stationery line is letterpress printed and includes a single matching Tattly Temporary Tattoo! A happy greeting and fun gift wrapped into one!
And just like Tattlys, our cards are made and printed in the USA, by no other than Mama’s Sauce. What do you think?
I am excited. YAY!
Oliver Jeffers recently launched an updated version of his wonderful World Map. Oliver drew the original map with pencil on paper and reproduced it on beautiful double-weight paper with a self healing natural cork backing for you to easily push pins into. Each print is signed by Oliver, embossed with an exclusive seal and mailed in a tube to ensure it arrives in the very best condition. Cool, right?
Custom leather luggage tag by Owen and Fred. Supercool.
Big fan of this beautiful letterpress printed card by Holstee: Wherever Card.
Various Keytags made me chuckle. These would make for a fun gift. (Thanks Brian)
This recycled Toy Paper Bag made me look. Probably not all that practical when it actually comes to storing toys, but it sure looks cool. Also available as paper and plastic bag.
Grumpy Rain Cloud Pin Brooch. Made me smile.
This Camper Play Tent would have made me *so* happy as a little kid.
Quite charmed by these Designer, Maker and Thinker pins by Skinny Vinny.
Little Marks is a brand new Tattly by the lovely folks of Petite Alma.
This Neighborhood Block Set makes for a lovely gift.

I wrote about the adult version of the Ostrich Pillow in January of 2012. They now just released a kids version. I continue to be intrigued.
Ok, now this is a stapler with personality: Meet Ellepi, a stapler with ‘a face’.
I have written about the Blade necklace back in March, after I met its designer Njoki Gitahi. I am so happy to share that the Blade Necklace is now available for sale, handcrafted by metalsmith Melissa Hamming. A beauty, right? An no, it’s not sharp!
This Hand Shadow Puppet Chart made me look. Tempted to buy one for the kids room.
Poe-ka Dots Pouch, as in Edgar Allan Poe!
You know what makes me happy? Anything that celebrates analog mail! In this case, this beautiful Enamel Envelope Pin.
What makes me even happier is that this is a personal project by my Tattly Team member Sarah Anderson. She had the idea for the pins, designed them, had them made, set up a site, and boom, she is in business. I love the internets and friends that embrace the opportunities it brings. Yay for side projects!
Now, go buy a pin, yes?
Team Tattly is giddy over today’s long-awaited launch of the New York City Subway Set. We are working on collaborations with brands we love and we figured, since we are based in NYC, it would be lovely to start with a homage to the beautiful subway signage. If you want to know a bit more about the history of how the signage system came about, AIGA has a great article on this. And if you want to sport a Subway Tattly, head this way.
This is the kind of toy that gets me really excited: Elastic Pattern lets you create mandalas, patterns, geometric shapes. The set includes a wooden base, 13 wooden pegs and an assortment of muticolored rubber elastics. What I love most is that it comes packed inside a small bag for handy transport! Yay for analog toys.
My friends at GNTLM collaborated with Emily of Haptic Lab and created this stunning, limited edition Brooklyn Quilt. Rugged enough to use outdoors, soft enough to use on your bed, and attractive enough to spark a conversation anywhere. The top of the quilt features a hand-stitched map of Brooklyn, while the bottom showcases a strong red, white and blue plaid. Only 50 copies were made. Get it while you can, it just launched.
