Godzilla

Are you on Flickr and use the Tweetie 2 iPhone app? Then you might want to know about Godzilla. It let’s you skip the image services like twitpic or yfrog when tweeting. When you send a tweet from Tweetie 2, Godzilla uploads the image to your Flickr account. Excellent.

UPDATE: Works like a charm. First upload. YESSS!

Grid-App for iPhone/iPad

Effektive designed these grid based home screen backgrounds for iPhone and iPad to coincide with the IOS4 software upgrade which allows you to select and image as a home screen background. These grid inspired layouts act as an organised wireframe grid structure to keep your applications in neat and tidy order on your iPhone or iPad. With numbered grid rows and a ‘D’ for Dock you simply press hold and drag and drop your icons into the specific grid spots.

Please note only works on devices running IOS4 and only on 3GS or iPhone 4. More colours and styles will be available soon. See here for download and installation instructions. iPad Grid-Apps will be available soon.

kooaba

My studiomate Jens just showed me an interesting iPhone App called Kooaba. He uses the app to archive articles in swiss newspapers that he wants to go back to. He simply snaps a photo of the page and Kooaba recognizes the page and voila, you have the original pdf in your app and on your web-based account. (only works with magazines/newspapers that teamed up with Kooaba) What I find so impressive is that you are not taking a photo of some crazy barcode-like-pattern but simply of the page (or product). It also then lets you easily share the information via the various social networking tools, plus access more information. Impressive.

With kooaba, you can:
– get instant information on products
– remember/archive things you see, read
– share your stuff with your friends
– easily search your personal library

Typepong

It’s a retro resurgence with a modern twist. Pong is back. But not just any old Pong. Oh no. It’s TypePong! Pong. With type. This time, it’s on the iPhone!

Swiss Railway System Mobile App

With the Switzerland SBB Mobile iPhone App you have your own personal swiss train timetable and ticket counter in your pocket. With this app you get Door-to-Door travel information, “Take me Home” function with GPS Support and it allows you to buy tickets for public transportation services via credit card. Does it get any more convenient? How cool would it be if the MTA had something similar here in NYC?!

iPhone Desk Phone

Phone Dock Transforms The iPhone Into A Desk Phone. Brilliant!

iBend – Brilliant iPhone Stand

There are a lot of iPhone stands out there, but what sold me on the iBend is the fact that it is ultra-thin and you can hide/store it in your iPhone case. YES! Wishlisted!

MoviePeg

The MoviePeg iPhone Stand is so simple, it’s brilliant!
