Polka Dot Bike Stickers

If I had a bike to decorate I would buy these Polka Dot Bike Stickers and go to town.

Wee Society Print

These personalized prints by Wee Society are quite charming. Choose from 26 alphabetized characters who each hide one special letter, and personalize with your child’s name and an optional silly (or slightly more serious) statement.

Gravity

I was just trying to explain the concept of Gravity to my daughter this weekend. This video will help.

Grip for iPad

I recently got myself the STM Grip iPad Case. It is fairly slim and comes with two kickstand settings for typing and viewing. My iPad feels well protected from my rambunctious 2 year old, so I’d say mission accomplished. Two swissmiss thumbs up.

(If you’re looking for an extra fun kids proof iPad case, there’s no better one than the iGuy)

Satchel

My daughter started first grade yesterday and it made me think of my first day at school and how proud I was of my red leather Satchel. It was almost identical to the one above. Oh, the memories.

Sophie and Lili Dolls

Ella got her hands one of the lovely Sophie and Lili dolls and gives it a thumbs up! They are the brainchild of graphic designer Jennifer Vallez and for only $35 you can get your custom doll! Or get the DIY Cut + Sew + Color Set and get crafty with your little one. A great gift all around!

Plush Organs

Image via Capital Business

I Heart Guts makes seriously fabulous Plush Organs. Yes, I said plush organs. The designs are fun and they’re cuddly but the best part are the tag lines, i.e I’m a Liver, not a Fighter or Womb Service for the Uterus.

I Heart Guts is the brainchild of an anatomically obsessed illustrator, Wendy Bryan, who loves internal organs and all they do. I’ve had the pleasure to meet Wendy at the Gift Fair a few weeks back and her unique personality made me love her products even more.

Psst… Heart of Gold Lapel Pin makes for a fantastic small gift!

How sassy are these Mini & Maximus Kids Pants?

New Tattly Packaging

Team Tattly is quite excited about today’s launch of our brandnew set packaging. Our 12 sets now come in a visual sleeve, printed on beautiful Mohawk paper. Each set contains 8 Tattly (all made in the US) and retails at $15. The photos are by our amazing photographer Julia Robbs.

I am so incredibly proud of my hardworking team. Without them Tattly would never be what it is today! Please allow me to give my team a virtual-blog-ovation: Yay for Rusty, Bekka, Yoko, Julia, Mary and Jen!

Check out our 12 sets!

Bubble Backpack

The Bubble Backpack by MadPax makes me want to be a kid again! Ella is starting first grade next week and I tried to convince her that this backpack would make an awesome school bag. Unfortunately she doesn’t agree.

But, it comes in grown-up size as well. Hmm….

Slinky Study

Incredibly fascinating slow-motion footage of how a slinky falls when extended by its own weight and then released!

Geometric Pendants

I found these Geometric Pendants on Etsy, they are ready to be painted! Sounds like a fun art project I can do with my six year old. #wishlisted

Geometry Set Jotters

These are quite stylish notebooks. Each 50 page book has a patterned cover and is bound in a foiled paper jacket and comes with plain white pages.

Din Din Stainless Platter

This stainless steel platter made me chuckle. Obviously made for kids, but, honestly I want to use it for myself.

Knitted Storage Bins

Love these 100% cotton knitted storage bins. Tame the toys!

Super Sprowtz

Yesterday, somewhere on 10th avenue and 32nd street, I was handed one of these carrot puppets. Yup, a typical NYC moment. My kid’s faces lit up when they met him. Colby Carrot is now officially a new family member.

He is part of the Super Sprowtz Family. And they can sing:

Inside a Toddler’s Brain

Considering I have a crazy (adorable) 2 year old at home, this chart made me chuckle.

OXO Booster Seat

I just randomly stumbled upon this Booster seat by OXO. I have no idea if it is any good, but man, it’s a sweet looking booster seat. Once Tilo (2) is over his highchair, which will be soon, I’ll definitely consider this one. Has anyone tried it? Thoughts?

Cloud Shaped Rug

The rug by Pilepoil combines my love for rugs with my love for clouds. It is made in France and perfect for any kids room as it can be washed!

Micuna Ovo High Chair

This High Chair by Micuna is a beauty. (I admit, that our $20 IKEA high chair works perfectly fine, but this one, I would actually enjoy looking at.)

Paper Rocket Garland

Yes to this Paper Rocket Garland.

Money as you grow

Listening to a radio show on NPR last week, I heard the mention of Money As You Grow, a site that helps parents teach children about money. I love how they break down the most important points into age group appropriate language.

The site has been developed by the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability and provides 20 essential, age-appropriate financial lessons—with corresponding activities—that kids need to know as they grow. Two thumbs up!

Romotive

Please meet Romo, a charming smartphone robot by Romotive.

If you’re into robots, and always dreamed of having one, Romo is for you. Romo uses your smartphone for his brain, is affordable, extensible, and a super fast learner.

You can let Romo wander about your home and dance to music or you can stream Romo’s video to a controller and control him across Wifi.

Romo communicates with your phone via the universal audio jack, allowing Romo to be compatible with any smartphone.

I can not wait to introduce one of these little fellows to my kids. Totally wishlisted!

(Thank you Steve)

Inflatable Bedrail

Tilo, our two year old, suddenly decided to refuse sleeping in his crib. We just put a mattress on the floor and called it the ‘big boy bed’. He is in heaven. Only problem, he’s been rolling off it at night. But no longer, because I got one of these inflatable bed rails and it works! It ships with a small pump, inflates in 30 seconds. Simply put it underneath the fitted sheet and boom you’re done. Child secured.

The best part about it, it folds down to nothing so you can take it with you when you’re on the road. (The packaging is a bit misleading, there’s only one rail in the box, not two.)
